Temple Founder:
(Sir/Horus/M7) Michael J. Costa
(Sir/Horus/M7) Michael J. Costa
Born on Howard Carter’s birthday, Michael studied Archaeology & Art at California State University East-Bay during the mid-1990s. He authored over a dozen books since that time, with his first novel published & distributed on campus around 1992-1994 (Eye of the Pharaoh ©1990). Michael acknowledges that this novel was partly based on his life at the time, with his deep-rooted belief in Egyptian rebirth and the continuation of life that occurs after physical ‘death.’ Michael has some rare psychic abilities that have inspired many films and ideas regarding the Superphysical. Aside from writing, Michael also enjoys playing computer games (arcade/PC/RPG), visiting museums, practicing Archery and costuming in the Society for Creative Anachronism, studying Egyptology, and creating simulated governments / Micro-nations. Michael is a Kheri-Heb-Tep (Chief Lector Priest) & Divine Scribe in his Temple work. He realizes that any inference with the Natural World can cause dependency on his divine energy that once removed tends to cause a pulling away of events via inertia. This means that if he uses his energy to cause prosperity for a time period, that same event (prosperity) will be dependent on further orders and will detract in the opposite direction if orders are not given. This is what Michael believes caused the current economic recession of 2007-2009; Michael had been using prosperity magic in the Clinton era that affected the housing industry and lowered crime locally. When he stopped using it the housing market (in CA) plummeted and crime increased locally. Another reason for the recession was a short story he wrote that said in the last paragraph that there would be a “bad economic recession” in USA (fictional in 2002 when it was written). In his first novel, the events of a war against “Arab terrorists” occurred in the future, as did “Iran’s nuclear program.” These events now seem prophetic as no one else predicted them in 1990. (This qualifies Michael as a Divine Scribe, by the way). The novel was also the first to suggest that asteroids killed the Dinosaurs. … As Temple Founder, Michael seeks to educate people about the connection of magic with psychic abilities, and the importance of saving artifacts and monuments from destruction or neglect. He is a member of ARCE/NC (American Research Center in Egypt), the Egypt Exploration Society, and other groups. He is also an amateur artist/photographer.
